You know what... fuck these generals and their NEW RULES. How the hell can you win a war that your refusing to fight?
THE PROBLEM
The top general in Afghanistan just made up some new rule that says soldiers are no longer allowed to fight near the homes of Afghan civilians in hopes of reducing the number of civilians killed.
Do they teach strategy classes at these officer schools??? This new rule has to be a joke. It's a joke right?
Well, if this new rule is not a joke... this war is over and our enemy has won. Because all the enemy has to do now is move into populated areas and sit.
Then, it's up to the civilians to get rid of them... but if the civilians are so afraid of dying... they won't do shit. Which means anytime we come into these populated areas to get rid of the bad people for them... all the bad people have to do is start shooting... and we'll be forced to break contact and withdraw.
So here's the deal... If the people we are supposed to be freeing are not willing to die for their own freedom... Then I am no longer willing to die for them.
If your not prepared for "civilian" deaths... then you have no business going to war. The two have and will always be synonymous with each other. What the fuck did people think was going to happen?
WHO's TO BLAME
People. How is it that gansta rappers can take over popular culture and make millions and millions of dollars talking about fuckin' bitches, doing whatever it takes to make money, sellin' drugs, killing people, etc. and it's all good... but when it's time for the shit to really hit the fan we act so repulsed by it.
And how is it that we love violence on television and in movies, and praise our favorite stars for playing such stellar roles... but when it comes time for the "real" stars to take their places on the battlefield... everybody wants to act so disgusted.
Even worse, we cried our eyes out on September 11th... and then cried some more when they flew a plan near the statue of liberty for a photo shoot (shortly after Obama became president)... thinking it was 911 all over again. All them tears for nothing though... cause a soldier still can't do his fucking job. Guess them terrorists need to attack us a couple more times before you get the picture. Jesus Christ you all are fucking idiots.
Look, soldiers kill people and blow shit up. If we are not going to let them kill people and blow shit up... then it's time to bring them home. Because if your not asking them to go kill, your asking them to just die. And that is unacceptable.
So fuck you all. From the generals who make these horrible decisions to the people that create the environment in which these decisions are made. I hope your fucking happy... because all you pussy's have done is made targets out of our soldiers... and though soldiers are no strangers to being targets... you've just made it impossible for them to do their job.
You might as well have put a bullet through their heads yourself.
I wonder what kind of deals Hamid Karzai and the Taliban are making under the table. And why the fuck America is under that same table making it with them.

And that's the reason why I don't support the war. The GI's as well as the civilians are VICTIMS in a racist needless war. Smedley Butler had it pegged when he said WAR IS A RACKET. And it's true-violence and killing is glorified (from Gangsta Rap to pro-war parades to war movies to western movies to computer games). Someone's making $$ and the soldiers and civilians are victims. People are suckered into supporting these bullshit wars as well. God damn PNAC, the Generals and Admirals, the out-of-control Military-Industrial-Congressional Complex who all profit from these debacles.

ReplyDeleteWake up... everybody profits off of war. For there is nothing gained in life that does not come from taking it from someone else. Now, perhaps your not making a million dollars off of it... but everything you own, buy, want, have... all has its price in blood.
ReplyDeleteWe can no longer act oblivious to all we have come to take for granted. And War has made it all possible. Now, what I'm saying is that we all need to stop pretending... we know what war is. We all know what it means... and exactly what is going to happen as a result. Whether its folks gettin rich or civilians dying.
So given what we know... if we are not prepared for these things to happen... stay the fuck off the battlefield. For it should come as no surprise that soldiers have been trained and asked to kill. But, When that day comes that we would send them to war and ask them to do anything else... the time has come for them to return home.
Basically, I am pro soldiers doing what the fuck it is they are supposed to do... killing people and blowing shit the fuck up. So, as long as there are soldiers on the battlefield... I don't speak out against the war... I speak on behalf of those soldiers being able to kill people and blow shit the fuck up... Because to ask them to do anything less is simply asking them to go die.
Be that as it may, you said yourself you'd be the first one to stand up against sending soldiers anywhere. Also, you said that we should be giving back natural resources, to the people that we stole'em from. I would assume on these grounds that you know there is something wrong going on that does not have to be. Sure we all profit, but look what's happening now... the big families getting rich, and like you said now they are telling us to FUCK OFF! Unless they are complete idiots (apparently they aren't because they are still getting away with it), I don't think they'd be spending trillions on warfare, unless they were making at least double that back in personal profit as they tell us our nation is bankrupt and are trillions in debt. War may not have any morals or right or wrong opinions, but the people at the top still chose where to go, and you know they are lying for their own agenda, so is there a point where these current conflicts become bad for the American people? These new rules as you pointed out are simply telling the soldiers to go die, and that is unacceptable. You just said we have no business going to war. More proof that the real people profiting, are working against the soldiers as well. Which is obvious because our "leaders" agenda is openly stated to bankrupt America, turn it to 3rd world status, end sovereignty, by ridding ourselves of the constitution, and turn it over to a world governing body. Maybe they're too 7 days, but many veterans think the best support of the troops is to bring them home, as brainwashing people to kill, and setting them loose upon a civilian population seems to be a waste of money, according to them. Live From Iraq, calls the war a scandal. I don't know... maybe I'm still not getting the bigger picture. Ye were living good for now, but what if these wars are the turning point of all that. I respect the hell out of you Neal, but I'm just saying you say you don't speak out against the war, but it seems like you already have.
